Curtis Lee was born August 24, 1954 in Newellton, Louisiana to the late Granison and Mary Lee. He was baptized at an early age at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Newellton, Louisiana. Curtis graduated from High School in 1972. Shortly afterward he enlisted in the United Stated Marine Corps and served until 1983. He survived the Vietnam War and was a Sergeant when he left the Marines. Curtis is a member of Bread of Life Ministries where he served as an Usher. Curtis was a quiet person who enjoyed sports, especially football, and his family and friends. Curtis is preceded in death by his parents Granison and Mary Lee and one brother Eddie Lee. Curtis leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory one son Curtis Lee Jr., Seven Sisters and One Brother, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Viewing will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 3-7pm at Palm Mortuary – Downtown, 1325 N Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Funeral Service will be held at the Mortuary starting at 10:30 with burial and military honors at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005 at 1:20pm. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Downtown Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
