Christopher Aaron White

Christopher graduated from Canoga Park High school and enrolled in the Coast Guard. During his years in the U.S. Coast Guard, Chris worked in various positions of Civil Engineering in Juneau AK, Boston MA, from 1982 to 1988. After USCG he worked for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Bothell Washington as a Facility Engineer from 1988 to 1990. After FEMA he worked for the Department of Energy (DOE) in Oak Ridge TN, Fernald, OH, Piketon OH, West Valley NY, Miamisburg OH, Yucca Mount Project NV, NNSA Field office NV from 1990 to present.

Christopher earned many degrees during his lifetime. U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT - Ocean Science – BS. Northeastern University, Boston MA – Civil Engineering – MS. University of Illinois, Champaign, IL – Business Administration – MBA.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father Robert white; mother Mona White; his twin sisters Leslie and Laura White; uncle Richard (Dick) White.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife Rita White (nee Walsh-Zanelotti); his children Aaron White (Alison) of Saint Cloud, FL. Jenny Barr (Matthew) of Columbus, OH. Lisa Zanelotti Brewer of Hamburg, NY. Marc Zanelotti of Palmyra, NY; grandchildren Mikey White and Eva Barr, Kayla (Benjamin), Bryce, Leyna, and Hudson Brewer, Kyer and Lucian Zanelotti; great grandchildren: Everett Brewer and Evelyn Lange; Uncle Jon White of Sutherlin, OR; Aunt Barbara White of Huntington Beach, CA and cousins in both CA and OR.

A visitation for Christopher will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 10:00am at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A reception will follow after the services.
