you were one of a kind saleman and i will never forget you as you were so good to me and you showed  me every car until i made up my mind and i will never forget that  what a wonderful person you are may you rest in peace  and know you will never be forgotten

I has known Chris for many many years in the car business and he was one of my mentors. He helped me with my growth in sales and helped me build confidence. He was always there whenever I needed help and always ready to step. We always had fun at work as we would talk about basketball and his life stories. I miss you, Chris! Heaven has gained a loving, wonderful angel! 

I'm devastated to learn of Christian's padding. He literally called me off and on for a year inspiring me to get into my dream vehicle once I was gainfully employed. November was the last call and regretfully I missed it. I followed up today to tell him I had a good job and could finally meet him in person, only to find out he'd passed :-( RIP great one!

Chris and I go way back to high school.We lived a few blocks from each other on the west side of Detroit and went to Cooley High together.We’ve stayed friends all those years. Life‘s challenges and experiences gave us much to talk about years later after Chris moved to Las Vegas and I remained in the metro Detroit area. We stayed in touch and would enjoy reminiscing about those days during high school.But what we really had in common was usually the topic of our conversation.It was about having excepted Jesus Christ as our savior. So we would always talk about the mercy and the goodness of God and the blessings He has bestowed on us.We were both happily married, had good jobs and Family that we loved and  that loved us.That would be enough for anyone. But, there was an emptiness that needed to be filled.And only God could do that.So in July 19 94 Chris excepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and I in July 1977. So most all our conversations were about the blessings and and goodness of God we experienced during those years. You might say we were now born again.There was a spiritual transformation that Had occurred in our lives and we needed to express that to each other. In our talks and fellowship we were feeding each other about the faith that God had deposited in our lives. It was truly a thing of beauty and a blessing. I will 
truly miss  those conversations with Chris.My love and prayers go out to his wife and family at this difficult time. May the peace and comfort of God strengthen their hearts.Finally,the one thing I can assure you is that Chris would want every one reading this to know that when he and I excepted Christ as our Savior that our lives, spiritually and in so many other ways ‘had passed from death into life and darkness into light’.He would want the very same that God granted him that “to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— John 1:11

I met Chris in 1965 while attending high school in Detroit. His positive attitude and joie de vivre made him a pretty popular guy to be around. Music, movies and rock and roll concerts filled the weekends. Purchasing LPs and listening to them on those enormous speakers could explain the loss of hearing we might have today!
Always with friends in his 1960s Oldsmobile, playing Motown hits on the radio, driving to Detroit's Greek Town for dinner or for a Coney Island hot dog. Just some of the good memories that filled my teenage years hanging around with Chris.

After high school graduation, our lives took different paths. Chris moved to Vegas and I moved to BC , Canada. Strange that after 5 decades we would once again connect with a fortunate stroke of serendipity, We had new stories to share. His love for Loann was paramount. Chris was so proud of her career in medicine. He enjoyed texting me pics of the two of them on trips, in restaurants, or at sports events.

Sometimes we are fortunate to meet a person along in life's journey and walk together if only for a little while.....and it makes all the difference. I'm so glad our paths crossed again. I feel blessed to have known you as a friend all these years. RIP my dear friend.

My sincere condolences to you, Loann. May you be surrounded by loving friends and family in this difficult time. I hope you also find peace in the good memories that Chris left behind.


   One of my favorite memories with Chris was when we were having lunch in Vegas with him and his wife. He joked about how his wife would kiss his dog and not him every morning and night. I told him, “From now on I will tell your wife to kiss you instead.” Chris was a wonderful person. He was fun, kind, and caring.
   You will be missed and never forgotten.

I miss our long conversations
I miss you waiting outside my office when I had customers, 
because you wanted to share a  meme or joke on your computer (sometimes they were not funny)
I miss every morning a 
"GOOD MORNING ELSA" and or "START NOTHING AND THERE WON'T BE NOTHING!"
I miss the text with with computer screen shots, of funny or interesting things that sometimes you had already shared with me (lol) but it was ok, I really enjoyed and appreciated it,  you're intention was always to make me laugh and you always did!

I miss you my dear friend Christian!
