Christopher “Christian” Larsen, was an only child born to Georgina Kalopesis and Fred Larsen who preceded him in death. The majority of his youthful years were spent in Detroit, Michigan until the age of 17. He relocated to Las Vegas where he has resided until his passing on November 27th, 2021.
Chris married the love of his life, Loann Larsen, for nearly 22 years
Chris enjoyed working in the restaurant business, started at age 17 as a busboy, worked his way up to Sommelier, Captain, then Maître D’. He had great memories, serving legends, like Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lewis, Michelle Yeoh, and many more. Chris used to serve 20-plus-pounds lobsters at Rosewood Grills. He helped open the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Las Vegas in 1999 and was the Maître D’ for President Clinton’s luncheon shortly after opening the restaurant.
Chris ventured into the car business in 2001, joining the United Nissan family, where he received many awards and accolades for his outstanding performance in Sales and excellent customer service. He was very dedicated to helping customer with financing challenges. Christian loved working at United Nissan and was very enthusiastic when sharing email’s, memes, and wholesome jokes with his United Nissan family.
Chris was a die-hard Detroit sports fan, loved to read and collect comic books, and read his Bible every night.
He especially loved to make and share jokes.
Chris is survived by his wife, Loann Larsen. Parents-in-law Mr. Bac Lam & Mrs. Julie Trinh. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Hau Le & Susan Lam. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gary & Katie Lam. Brother-in-law Ank Lam. Three nieces, he loved to pieces Kristie, Kristine, and Kristina Lam. Sister-friend “Mustang” Sally Jo Ellis Knapp. Dear friend Linda Shiles. Four-legged babies Zak & Zada, and two-legged baby Zek.
