Charles Kyle Burger

Charles Kyle Burger, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 76 on December 6th at his home, in Las Vegas Nevada, surrounded by his family. Charles was born December 31, 1947, in Belmar, NJ to Philip and Irene {Erb} Burger. Charles graduated from Manasquan High School in 1965. He served in the Army from 1967 to 1969 receiving a Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and received an honorable discharge.

Charles married the love of his life, Patricia MacDonald on November 23rd, 1969. Charles shared 55 beautiful years with his wife, raising their four children.

He worked at Pat’s Riverview Diner in Belmar NJ for 35 years until it closed in 2002. He was a volunteer firefighter in the Belmar Hook and Ladder. He went on to work for the TSA in Las Vegas from 2002 until his retirement. He enjoyed carpentry and wood-working and spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his wife Patricia; his children Douglas, with wife Maureen, Stephen, with wife Lori, Michele and Michael, with wife Lori; grandchildren Megan, Haley, Justin, Kyle, Taylor, Kristen and Maddie; great-grandchildren Addyson, Easton and Lainey; and sister Dorothy.

Charles was preceded in death by his daughter Debra; parents Philip and Irene; and brother Philip.
