Carolyn J. Jenkins, born in Rotterdam, Holland, on October 27, 1918, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on April 25, 2023, after living a full life of 104 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Wilkins and her son, Ray Jenkins. She is survived by her daughter Charmaine (Jim) Black, her son, Mike Jenkins, granddaughter, Alicia Bucher (Steve Moore), great granddaughter, Baylee (Bret) Collins, great great grandchildren, Blakely and Brody Collins, great grandsons, Preston and Bradon Bucher, grandson, Richard (Charlene) Wilkins, and great granddaughter Ashley Wilkins and great grandson Rick Wilkins.
She also leaves behind other step grandchildren and family members in Holland. Carolyn had many occupations during her life including working at the Nevada Test Site.
A funeral service for Fientje will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A committal service and reception will follow the funeral service.
Fientje will be laid to rest in Palm Northwest Cemetery , 6701 N. Jones Blvd. , Las Vegas, Nevada 89131; Garden of Mountain View.
