Bonnie Lynn Stolzman, 58, passed away on December 6, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on October 21, 1966 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Robert and Emilie Boehm. Bonnie started her nursing career as an LPN in 1985 in Madison, Wisconsin and went on to obtain her ADN in 2002 and then her BSN in 2013. While working, she enrolled in a double Master’s program getting an MBA and MHA finished that journey after moving to Las Vegas in 2016. She had most recently achieved her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and officially became Dr. Bonnie Stolzman. Bonnie was working as the CNO at Desert View Hospital and was active with the legislature advocating for nursing and for Rural Health Care.
She loved all things Barbie, cooking her homemade Alfredo pasta, her cookbook collection, going thrifting and starting our ebay store, Thrifted Unicorn Treasures to save for our retirement, taking vacations to Mexico, and Christmas, her record was 9 Christmas trees one Christmas! Bonnie always saw the good in everyone, and her beautiful blue eyes would always make you feel safe and like sharing your life story, and she would listen to anyone. She had the ability to “write pretty words” and would always say, “You can’t make this sh*t up!” There was nothing Bonnie loved more than her grandchildren, teaching, and sharing her knowledge and love with everyone.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Boehm. She is survived by her husband, Richard Stolzman; mother, Emilie Boehm; her sister, Cindy and Tony Martinelli, brother-in-law, Robert and Dawn Stolzman, and brother-in-law, Brian and Shari Klessig; her children, Dallas and Tracy Martinson, Keara Stolzman and her fiancé Jordan Unsinn, Jordan and Tiffany Stolzman, Barrett Stolzman, and friend Autumn Chorkey; and her grandchildren, Brehkán Wiroll, Austin Martinson, Brilynn Stolzman, Zayden Martinson, Reagan Stolzman, Miles Stolzman, and Rhett Unsinn.
There is a plan to have a Celebration of Life for Bonnie in Wausau, WI tentatively on Saturday May 3, 2025. Exact place and time to follow. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Palm Southwest Mortuary in Las Vegas.
