Barbara Rosalie (Bentley) Lord, 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home. She was born on January 14, 1938 in Kokomo, Indiana to Ralph and Violet (Mumaw) Bentley. Barbara graduated from Northwestern High School in 1956. She served in the United States Air Force before marrying James Lord, Sr., who preceded her in death. Barbara was a 52-year resident of Las Vegas. Barbara is survived by sons James II (Dori), John (Annette) and Joseph (Tammy); eleven beloved grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers James (Carolyn) Bentley, Roger (Doris) Bentley, Dan Bentley all of Kokomo, Indiana, Doug (Kathy) Bentley of Logansport, Indiana, and Bill (June) Tooley of North Port, Indiana. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, her parents, and sisters Lois (Tooley) Nall and Margaret (Tooley) Porter. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at Palm Mortuary, 7600 South Eastern Avenue, at 11:00 am, January 12, 2018.
