Armando Perez, 89, of Las Vegas, Nevada went into the hands of the Lord on April 26, 2014. Armando was born on August 22, 1924 in Havana, Cuba to Ambrosio and Concepcion Perez. He found his soul mate and married his beautiful wife, Olga, and they shared 54 wonderful years together. Armando was a lifelong casino employee and was a casino manager in this native Havana, Cuba. After fleeing the communist regime he arrived in Las Vegas to work at the Dunes Hotel for over 30 years as a roulette dealer until his retirement. A very devoted family man, he loved being with his grandchildren and was a wonderful husband and father—he was a quiet man full of dignity and respect for others. He also was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed Yankee baseball and was a supporter of UNLV basketball. Armando was preceded in death by his wife Olga; parents Ambrosio and Concepcion; and his sister Louisa Villanueva. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Miszlay; son-in-law Jeff Miszlay; grandson Matt Garcia; granddaughter Jordan Miszlay; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many family members. He will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
