He was born on December 30, 1979 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. A man of sincere faith, Anton completed twelve years of Catholic school prior to working for over a decade in the memorial industry. He later became an IT specialist for an automotive aftermarket business.
Anton was known as a comical, kind-hearted person with a generous spirit. As the toastmaster of his peer group, he had a unique way of bringing people from all walks of life together in cheerful celebration. He reveled in the joys of living and shared a great happiness with his friends and loved ones.
Simple pleasures brought Anton joy. Much of his personality and humor came from his enthusiasm for cinema, pop culture, and, in particular, sports. He was a devoted fan to the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Phillies. Anton had a strong connection with animals and enjoyed a playful rapport with the pets he cared for.
In Anton’s latter years, he was diagnosed with AML Leukemia and became a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, where he fought a lionhearted battle against cancer.
Even during his most challenging moments, he managed to be the “life of the party” and brought laughter to those around him. His warmth, loving nature and whimsical spirit will comfort his family and friends forever.
Anton is survived by M. Jayne Persico (Mother), Anthony Persico Jr. (Father), Melissa Persico (Sister), Amy Persico (Sister), Tino Persico (Brother), Brianna Dalesandro (Niece), Erica Dalesandro (Niece), Matilda & John Motway (Grandparents), and his beloved cat Billie Jean.
Services will be held in Las Vegas at the Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery on Thursday, September 29th at 10:00 a.m.
