Aaron was born in Louisiana in 1913. In in his youth, he made his way out west and settled in California. He lived in Daly City before moving to Los Angeles. It was late in his life that he made his final move to Las Vegas.
Aaron served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. He loved to show pictures and tell stories about his experiences in the Pacific and the impact that it had on his life.
He was a man of many hobbies. In addition to his love for hosting large Christmas Eve parties for family and friends, gardening and card games, he was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed both deep sea and fresh water fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed sharing his catch with family and friends.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Ruby; daughter, Karen; granddaughter, Kimberly; great-granddaughter, Madison; sister, Retta; step daughters: Yvonne, Yolana, Deanna, and Bev; step-son, David; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
He will be truly missed.
