William R True III

William " Bill" True III, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2017 in the care of hospice at the age of 74. He was born in Terre Haute, IN to William R. II and Kathryn Eloise True. He was the second of three children. He was married to Linda M. True for 50 years and they had three children, William R. True IV, Ann Marie True and Elizabeth True Johnson. They have lived in Florida since 1975. Bill was in auto repair for 60 years and was owner/ operator of Oakhurst Chevron from 1988-1995 . He was also the owner/ operator of Master Tech Auto Repair from 1995-2006 until he retired. Bill enjoyed classic cars, collecting clocks and model cars, and spending time with his family . He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn; his father, William; brother, Thomas; sister, Nancy; and his son, William " Billy". He is survived by his wife Linda True; daughters, Ann Marie True and Elizabeth True Johnson; son in law, Evan Johnson; and granddaughter, Hannah Johnson. He will be dearly missed by his family. Those who knew him enjoyed him as much as his family did. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to the Tampa Bay Friends organization for Down syndrome in his granddaughters name, Hannah Johnson. The website is www.friendssupport.org
