WELLS, Sara Jeanette McFarlin, 82, of Largo, FL, died March 15, 2011. Sara was born in Winter Haven, FL. She graduated from Winter Haven H.S. in 1946 and then went to Florida State College for Women which became Florida State University the next year. She graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in 1950. She was editor of the year book and art magazine. Before retirement she worked for the city of Tampa as a map maker. Sara moved to Clearwater in 1979 from Atlanta, GA. Sara is preceded in death by her husband, William Wells (1996) and is survived by her children, Terry L.,Atlanta, GA., Robert S.(Hyon Kim), Bellevue, WA and Debra J.(Mark), Largo and grandchildren, Stephen, Elizabeth and William. There will be a graveside service 2 pm Monday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
