91, of Redington Beach, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 11, 2017. She was born in Nashville, TN on January 28, 1926. She resided in Knoxville, TN until she moved to Redington Beach in 1952, residing at the same address until her passing. She worked at the Knoxville Sentinel News Paper. In Florida, she worked in retail management and headed the jewelry department of several major department stores. She was always involved in community and school activities. She was a member of the original Mother’s Guild of Redington Beach. She loved Bridge and to travel, but most of all, she loved people. She is preceded in death by her husband, William G. Chandler; and 2 brothers. She is survived by her two sons, William, of Redington Beach, and David (Melissia; and her daughter Michaela), of Colorado; her daughter, Debbie, of Punta Gorda; grandson, John of St. Petersburg; great-granddaughter, Sailor, of Delray Beach; two nephews and one niece of Huntsville, AL. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 1:30pm. She will be placed next to her husband.
