Margaret Mary Melvin, 96, went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2019. She worshipped much of her adult life at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park, FL and later at First Christian Church of Seminole in Seminole, FL.
She was married November 3, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA. Margaret worked at Honeywell International for 33 years. She was a long time member of Sacred Heart choir and had the opportunity to make a trip with her choir to Rome, Italy to sing for and meet Pope John Paul II.
She was the last living sibling of eleven children in her family. She was preceded in death by Mary, Jack, Frank, Gertrude, James, Jane, Thomas, Nancy, William and Dorothy.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Rose Brandt of Largo, FL; sons, Richard Melvin of Venice, FL, Paul Melvin of Hudson, FL, Thomas Melvin of Minot, ND, William Melvin of Hudson, FL; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
