Joey and I grew up together in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
We attended the same schools and our parents belonged to the same church.
Joey and I were like brothers / best buddies.  
Though the years we lived in different states we kept in touch.
We shared many adventures though the years.
In  our senior years we finally moved in the same area and  visited/ talked a great deal.
We were all ways concerned about each other's health and  welfare.
Joey passions were His family, church, hunting,and  firearms.
Joey is now pain free and with His God, Family, and  Friends.
I will alway remember and miss my best buddy /brother.

To our distant family in Florida, our condolences to Lauretta and family. 
As a young man living in the Roseland area of Chicago I always looked forward to seeing cousin Joe because at that time he was a college football player. To keep us out of trouble as kids cousin Joe would bring out the football and play catch with me on Peoria st. I remember Uncle Joe and aunt Elma would stay at next door at my uncle John & aunt Jean's house and cousin Joe and Lauretta would stay at my uncle Andy's house a couple of miles away.  I would tell my friends that my big cousin Joe is coming over from Florida and let them know he played college ball and not to bother me while everyone was in town from Florida. I enjoyed the times we spent together and will miss Joe and those good old days.
