Parker, Jimmie “Christine” passed away Feb 6, 2017. She was born in Fourmile, KY and moved to Largo in 1956. She was a graduate of the University of KY and was a teacher for the City of Largo for 40 years. Christine was pre-deceased by her parents James (Bud) and Euna Parker; survived by long-time friend and companion Jennie Sanchez; cousins, James (Doris) Parker, Sue (Harold) Parker Smith, Michael (Diane) Parker. Christine was a Philanthropist who was very active in charitable organizations locally and nationally giving of her time and money. She will be remembered for her volunteer work at the Largo Cultural and Community Center. Christine was a world traveler, visiting all 7 continents and will be truly missed by friends and family. A celebration of life service will be 11:00am Sat February 18th at Serenity F.H., 13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Largo, Fl 33774.
