Jack Wayne Mathews

MATHEWS, Jack Wayne 75, formerly of Parma, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 28, 2013. He was born in Cleveland OH and moved to Largo in 1989. He loved cruising, boating and gardening. He was a member of Paradise Lutheran Church in Treasure Island FL. Jack was involved for years with the Boy Scouts of America as a troop leader in Ohio. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him. Mr. Mathews is predeceased by his father Harry and a sister Hilda Ruth. Survivors include his loving mother Ruth Madeline Mathews, brother Dave Mathews (Carol), son William Mathews and a granddaughter Ana Mathews. Public visitation hours will be held on Tuesday June 4th from 1 to 3 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo, 562-2080. Reverend John Thompson of Paradise Lutheran Church will conduct a service at 3 pm at the funeral home. He will be returned to Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Hinckley, Ohio for burial.
