Georgeann "George" Pehanich

George attended Waymart High School and earned a Food Service Supervisors Certificate from Immaculata College. She married Robert “Bob” Pehanich on October 22, 1983.

George had a fulfilling career as a Dietary Supervisor at CMC Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She was an active member of the Jefferson Township Lions Club and had a passion for crafts, gardening, and caring for pets.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa “Missy” Black. George is survived by her sons, Dean Vaughn and Dennis “Denny” Vaughan; her grandchildren, Zachary “Zach” and Hunter Vaughn, and Harley and Mackenzie “Mack” Vaughn and Corey and Brandyn Black; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and her sisters, Leah Yansek and Nancy Davis.
