David Joseph Halliday, 68, of Largo, Fl, passed away on June 2nd, 2024. He was born in El Paso, Texas on March 21st, 1956. He attended Sarasota High School before studying at Florida Junior College in Jacksonville, Fl. He went on to work at Palms of Pasadena Hospital as an X-ray Field Service Engineer for over 30 years.
David was preceded in death by Robert Halliday and Louise Halliday. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Halliday, children Joseph & Betsy Halliday, Sean & Megan Halliday, and Steve & Amy Walker, his seven grandchildren: Ben, Henry, Logan, Escher, Shea, Zeke and Theo, and siblings Robert Halliday, Sheryl Cutrona, and Dawn Beiler.
David Joseph Halliday was a loving husband, father, papa, son, brother, and friend. He was the life of the party. David brought many laughs, love, and comfort to his family and friends. He enjoyed outdoor adventures and competitive sports. He was active in tennis, golf, and triathlons.
Memorial of David Joseph Halliday is on June 7th, 2024, at Anona United Methodist Church at 1pm.
