80, passed away April 2, 2019 after a courageous battle against cancer along with heart issues. Born
June 7, 1938 in Syracuse, New York, Chuck was an only child. After joining the Marine Corp in 1955 at
seventeen years old, Chuck saw the world, ended up marrying his childhood sweetheart Roberta
(Bobbie) Russell, his wife of 62 years. After moving to Florida in 1958, Chuck graduated from The
University of Tampa, worked at Honeywell, then in the 1970’s he embarked on his greatest business
venture starting Monogram Products, which he built into a thriving company, traveling overseas to build
and sell his brand. He thrived and found his true calling through all the years he spent building and
watching his company grow and succeed. It was truly the greatest source of pride and accomplishment
outside of his beautiful and loving family. He eventually sold his company in the mid 1990’s.
For anyone who knew Chuck, they knew he was the ultimate people person, gregarious and sincere,
made everyone he knew feel more special for having known him. He genuinely loved life, exuded
positivity like no other, took a glass mostly empty and convinced you it was full, he had that talent. He
had GREAT friends, many from childhood, always nurturing those relationships that were so important
to him throughout his lifetime. A simple expression might say he was a great man, his teaching was
simply to live the good life, never ever give up the fight, this was his legacy to those who knew and loved
Chuck, he lived and emulated this kind of life.
He served on the board of the Pinellas Education Foundation, was extremely active and a great
supporter of PARC, a local charity. He loved golf and supported the Tampa Bay Rays, you know he
would be ecstatic with their run so far this season.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Roberta, son Stephen (Nancy), daughter
Bonnie Beetar (Matthew), grandson Bradlee Beetar and granddaughters, Kalee, Ashlee, and Lillee
Burkett.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to PARC. Parc-fl.org
