Brenda Davidson Steele

Brenda D. Steele, age 79, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away September 12, 2023. She was born on August 28, 1944, in Nottingham PA. She worked as a secretary at WDEL radio station before becoming a stay-at-home mom to raise her children. Later in life, she pursued a career in accounting, showcasing her versatility and dedication to her family and profession. Alongside her devoted husband, she was Co-Owner of Fidelity Maintenance Services in Tampa, Florida.

Brenda had a passion for cooking and took great joy in preparing delicious meals for her family, friends and neighbors. She had a fondness for many activities, including reading, sewing and playing cards. Furthermore, she derived immense pleasure from sharing cherished memories and spending quality time with her beloved family.

She was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Francis (McCoury) Davidson. She was preceded in death by husband of almost 46 years Orville “Bud” Steele, as well as her brother Edward L. Davidson Jr.

Brenda is survived by daughter, Barbara L. Dupler and son-in-law Robert Dupler; son, Brian E. Steele and daughter-in-law Crystal Steele, grandchildren, Annie Austin, Jessica Eggers, Hunter Cornell and Summer Cornell, great grandson Jayden Eggers. Sisters, Gail Calvarese and June Graff.

Her absence will be deeply felt for years to come, and will always be remembered for her thoughtfulness, selflessness and remarkable independence. Our family loved her unconditionally and her qualities will continue to inspire and guide us in our lives. Though she is no longer with us, her love was treasured by countless hearts; and she will forever remain in ours.

The family will host a celebration of life, November 11, 2023, from 5:00- 7:00 pm, at Serenity Funeral Home located at 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, FL 33774.
