Bonnie Faye Botvin passed on November 1, 2018, at the age of 91 in Clearwater, Florida. She lived most of her life in Gastonia, NC., daughter of James Alexander King and Olive Jane King and the the 11th of twelve children. Her youngest sibling, Dorothy King Ransom, survives her. She is survived by three of her four children George Terry Ransom, Constance Ann Jessup and Kimberly Ransom. One son,
Jeffrey Alan Ransom is deceased. Bonnie has one granddaughter, Nicole Bracket, and two great grandsons, Tyler Faulkner and Cole Bracket. She loved music and was talented playing the piano, as well as singing. Bonnie was born in Alto, Georgia and had a beautiful “alto” voice. Bonnie volunteered singing and playing at area nursing homes. She was a much loved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. The world will not be the same without her kindness and exceptional sense of humor.
Visitation and service will be at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, FL 33774, 727-562-2080, on Friday, November 9th. Visitation from 1-2pm, and service will follow at 2pm. Services will performed by Pastor Rob Beswetherick from First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks where Bonnie was a member for 29 years.
