Toni A. Haring

Toni A. Haring, 87, went to be with her Lord on February 16, 2019. She was born October 7, 1931 to Michael and Margaret (Prewo) Nierenberger in Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond L. Haring; son, Brent M. Haring; and daughter, Denise Haring. She is survived by 3 sons, Dennis (Diana) Haring, Rick (Jennifer) Haring, and Duane (Laurie) Haring; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Eddie Nierenberger; and 2 sisters, Dorothy (Wayne) Kellogg and Margie Cochran.

Toni was a longtime member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and was very active in various areas including as a volunteer for church related meals. She was also a volunteer at Cristo Rey Catholic Church and belonged to Forty and Eight Veterans Organization. She loved animals, and adopted many pets along the way.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 AM Friday, February 22, 2019 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 – 10:30 AM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in North Aurelius Cemetery, Mason, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family is being served by Tiffany Funeral Home.
