Born January 3rd, 1951 at St. Lawrence Hospital to Edward H. McNamara and Lucille (Martin) McNamara. He was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. He graduated in 1970 from Gabriels High School in Lansing, where he played baseball. His love of sports, as a participant or spectator continued on to produce many friendships and memories. One of his greatest memories was skipping school as a teenager to ride his bike to catch the Beach Boys, his favorite band, fly into town. His school papers spilled out of his bag and the band helped him pick up every paper, even signed some! He started his career at Everybodys Market then moved on to High Class, Canada Dry, Coke and Retired from Pepsi after 35 years in 2013. He spent the last few years of his life taking care of his beloved mother, Lucille. Tom left us June 22, 2023 and will be greatly missed.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Edward H. and Lucille McNamara, his brother Michael McNamara and sister Carrie T. Muylle. He is survived by his wife Terri (Himebaugh) McNamara, his children Allen (Inna) McNamara, and Teresa (McNamara) House, his sisters Linda (Mario) Pascotto, Sharon (Terry) McNamara-Maag, and Annette (Mick) McNamara, brothers Mark McNamara and Dave (Carrie) Muylle, granddaughters Alyson, Rose, Violet, Ginger, Allicen and Mae, his uncles Orwin Martin and Richard Behlander of Bay City and many nephews and nieces.
