Susan Kay Dickinson

Susan Kay Dickinson, born September 11, 1940 in Lansing, Michigan, went to heaven May 5, 2017 at age of 76. She was the second child of Evelyn (Maurer) and Alfred Otto "Pete" Peterson. She graduated from J.W. Sexton High School in 1958 where she met some of her lifelong friends. She married Kenneth Dickinson on June 30, 1962, who survives her. She is also survived by her three children, Dianna (Ali) Siahpush, Tim (Sue) Dickinson and Tamara (Mike) Wilson; seven grandchildren: Candice (finance Joel Mathews), Mallory, Erica, Kaela, Garrett, Michael and Jacqueline and great granddaughter Teagann, sister Joyce Dilworth and sister-in-law Sandra Spagnuolo, many nieces and nephews and many generations to come. Preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Florence (Blanchard) Dickinson, sister-in-law Marge (Dickinson) Acevedo, brother-in-law Wendell Dilworth. She was the owner and operator of Dickinson Realty where she touched many lives throughout her 30+ years of her career. It was not only her career but her passion. In addition, her passions were family gatherings & cooking for them, golf, spending time at the lake house and Destin, FL condo, spending time in the sun!

Services will be at Gorsline-Runciman, 900 East Michigan Ave., Lansing. Visitation: Tuesday, May 9th 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 10th visitation at 10 a.m. and funeral at 11a.m.
