Robert L. "Bob" Johnson, passed away July 25, 2017 at the age of 71. Bob was born June 13, 1946 to William and Betty (Thocher) Johnson in Lansing where he spent most of his life. He was a proud veteran of the US Army where he served as an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jim and David. He is survived by nieces, Theresa Johnson and Kris Johnson; special great-niece, Nicole Hollabaugh; nephew, Andy Johnson; and sister-in-law, Barb Johnson.
We would like to give a very special thank you to the nurses and caregivers of Great Lakes Hospice, especially Anjil Tyler and Sam Peabody. Your kindness and compassion in taking such great care of our uncle, and loving him as part of your own family, is appreciated more than words could ever say. Bob was also grateful for the great care you provided and enjoyed your company.
