I was shocked to hear of his passing. I always enjoyed visiting with when he stopped by the store.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Bradley. He taught my Journalism class many years ago at Waverly High School. I would always remind my kids of this each week reading his articles in the Fowlerville News and Views. I always felt proud seeing those articles knowing he was my teacher and will definitely miss them. Rest in peace Mr. Bradley. You were an inspiration to many.

Our sincere condolences to Mr. Bradley's family. He was a part of our high school lives and we share fond memories of him. Mr. Bradley was a teacher who worked well with his students and was a true professional in his field. He will surely be missed.

We attended Trinity with Dick and Shirley for several years, and they were a wonderful couple. In recent years, I would frequently see them at Meijer's or McDonald's, and it would always brighten my day. I never knew Dick as a teacher but, from the memories that others have shared, I know that he was a role model and an inspiration to many young people. Heaven is a little brighter today with Dick's presence. Shirley and her entire family are in our thoughts and prayers this week.

My deepest condolences to the Bradley family. My husband Ramiro and Richard used to sit at Meijers and have long chats. So Dick say hello to my husband for me and may God Bless all your family friends I know you will be missed.

I knew this man with his infectious joy of life for about thirty years, I think. He will be so sorely missed.

Mr. Bradley was an excellent teacher and guide. He helped me gain confidence in my writing and showed me how to be a member of a team. I am grateful that he was such an influence in my life. Condolences to his family and friends.

I'm so sorry to hear of "Mr. Bradley's" unexpected passing but appreciate that he is now with his Lord. It's been 46 years, yet I remember that he was always smiling and had a kind, patient way about him. He was a beloved teacher.

Mr. Bradley (isn't it special that no matter how old we are we still refer to our teachers as "Mr.", and "Mrs.") But, that kinda sums up my thoughts and feelings for Mr. Bradley. I truly respected him for who he was and his willingness to display those standards in who he was. Mr. Bradley was my very favorite teacher. I just attended my 40 year class reunion from Waverly High School and we all talked about our favorite teacher and Mr. Bradley's name came up more than once. I was new to the school and Mr. Bradley noticed my shyness and interest in Journalism. I was in his class for all three years of high school. He allowed me the opportunity to become Editor-in-chief my senior year and it was an honor to work with him. He seemed to know how to bring out the very best in people. I am truly saddened by the loss of such a great mentor to many. I know that many of us wonder if we ever truly make a difference in other people's lives, and I am here to say that Mr. Bradley touched many people's lives that he never really knew about. RIP Mr. Bradley.

Mr. Bradley was my Language Arts Teacher at Waverly H.S. I believe he was my teacher more than one year. I also was a member of his Yearbook Club. What a GREAT Teacher he was too! You could tell he loved teaching and really knew how to connect with his students. He was one of my favorite teachers. I'm sure he was an inspiration to all of his students. My deepest and heartfelt condolences. In 1968 Richard took a young man under his wing. This boy had never received good grades in English in the City of Lansing school system. All of a sudden, this boy was getting A's instead of C's because Richard liked the boy's writing style. In his senior year, this young man went on to become the Editor-in-chief of Waverly's Pleiad. I was that boy. I can never over emphasize the confidence this gave me. I went on to receive a BA, MA Ed, and a nursing degree, all because Richard recognized the seed of a good writer, and nourished that seed to bloom. I can never thank him enough. I hope that this story gives you some measure of comfort during your time of great loss.

Dear Shirley and family,

 So sorry to hear of the death of Richard. Jack often spoke of Dick when attending Trinity and always wanted to get to know him better. We saw an article of his in a restaurant in Williamston and were made aware of his writing abilities. Wouldn't it be nice if somehow we could all read the obits of everyone long before they died. He was always such a soft spoken modest man that I was completely unaware of all his accomplishments. We regret we didn't take the time to get to know him better. We knew his sight and balance issues were a problem for him in the last years and take comfort in knowing he is in a place where he has special sight. We want to send our sympathy in your lost.
