Joanne is survived by her daughter Linda Lawyer, grandson Alex Thompson and his children, grandson Cameron Burton, sister Diane Lechleitner, and brother William Snell. She also leaves cousins, nieces, nephews and their families, and her many friends.
She is preceded in death by daughter Lynn Marie Smith, mother Ernita B. Orton (Snell), father Joseph A. Snell, and brothers Thomas and David Snell.
She was a loving mother, Latter Day Saint Church member and life-long crafter. She was a Licenced Nurse Practitioner (LPN) for her entire career at the Clare, MI hospital, spending most of that time working in the emergency room.
She enjoyed travelling with her sister, spending time with her extended family, friends, and Red Hat Society sisters.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1125 Byfield Dr., Harrison, MI 48625 on March 23rd at 11 AM.
There will also be a memorial luncheon at The Doherty Hotel Clare, 604 N McEwan St, Clare, MI 48617, on March 23rd from 12 PM to 3 PM.
