Patricia Sue Willert

Surviving are her daughters, Johnnie (John) Smith, Cynthia Lea (Stanley) Buycks, Deena (Allen) Hayes and Kendra (Ron) Smith; grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Joshua Smith, Zachary Smith, Antonio Rivera, Lacey Buycks, Wesley Smith, Alexis Smith and Elizabeth Hayes; sister, Elizabeth Verlinde.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Willert; daughter, Rebecca Lea Willert and brother, Herbert Anderson.

She worked as a nursing assistant for McLaren Hospital for 37 years, volunteering for several years after her retirement. Patricia was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. Patricia loved attending craft shows, her flowers, horse pulls, shopping and spoiling her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014, Noon, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI, with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, April 16, 20014 from 6 to 8 p.m.
