Mary Ellen Hammond

Mary Ellen Hammond, age 59, of Ovid, Michigan passed away on February 16, 2016. She was born on February 3, 1957. She is survived by her husband of 36 years Timothy James Hammond of Elsie Michigan; brothers, Robert Hannah of Holt and Thomas Hannah of Virginia; sisters, Jeanne Prindle of Holt Michigan and Linda Thibault of Lansing Michigan; two nephews and five nieces. She also leaves behind a friendship of 51 years, Robin Mackey. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Virigiline Hannah;.brother-in-law, Victor Thibault; nephew, Robert William Meeks. Her favorite pass times were bowling, bingo, card games and church every Sunday. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Dimondale, Michigan. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Sunday, February 21, 2016. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 865 S.
