Marilyn Suzan Rocha

Marilyn was born the oldest child to Linus and Barbra Schuster on May 16th 1954. The oldest of 12 children made her the natural caregiver she was.

Marilyn was born and raised in Clio, Michigan and lived in the Flint area most of her younger years. She moved to Lansing in 1990.

Marilyn had 12 children, some biological and some step. But how she got those children never changed how she felt about them. She was also lucky enough to have too many grandchildren to count.

Marilyn was always the person you could count on to help with anything. She never judged a person on their past or how they looked. She loved you no matter what.

If Marilyn ever fed you she loved you. Her love language was food. She taught many her tricks in the kitchen. Especially how to feed an army.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 9 years, Santiago (Chagg) Rocha.

Marilyn passed on November 17th 2022 surrounded by her children. She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Floyd Young; her parents Linus Schuster and Barbra Blue; and her son Baby Boy Robertson.

A visitation will be held Sunday December 4, 2022 from 1-3pm, followed by a service at 3pm. At Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. Flowers are welcome.
