Linda was born on April 2, 1949 to Katherine (Vassey) and Walter Simpson in Lansing, Michigan.
Linda enjoyed golfing, reading, quilting and travel, but she was always available when her kids needed her. She will be most remembered for her willingness to help where needed with a smile.
Linda is survived by Tracie (Pounds) and Larry Gillespie of Lansing, Jarrod and Yuka Pounds of Traverse City, and Lan Lan Liu of California. She leaves behind six grand kids, two nieces, Vali Staley and Ivy Livingood of Florida, a loving support-team of Sally Grunst, Teresa Amato and Olivia Stratman. She also leaves behind so many beloved friends in Michigan and Florida. She felt blessed to know them.
Linda was preceded in death by husband James C Foster, parents Walter and Katherine Simpson and granddaughter Samantha Gillespie.
Her memorial service will be held on August 26, 2023 at 11am at Gorsline, Runciman Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10am.
