Leonard was born on August 19, 1965 in San Diego, California to Ernest Davis and Irene Victorian Davis. He was a high school graduate, and received his Associates degree. Leonard was a man of many trades, until he finally settled in with the occupation as a forklift operator. He loved sports; he played football, baseball, basketball, and softball.
Leonard, leaves behind his daughter, Eylila A. Davis and his grandchildren Vinny Negron Davis, Alyna Negron Davis, Paulina Negron Davis, and Misael Palacios Jr. ; whom he adored very much. He also leaves behind his siblings, Diana Davis Hunter, Ernest D. Davis, Belinda J. Johnson, Sharon M. Augustine, Eylia A. Moore, Sharae A Munzo, and Kenneth R. Davis. He was very close to his siblings, and kept in contact with them as much as possible. He and his brother Kenneth were two peas in a pod, they were so close you needed a knife to separate them. He followed his hip buddy to Lansing, MI where he resided for 13 years. Leonard also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
For all who knew Leonard, he was a big guy, bigger than life, with an even bigger heart. He was very kind to everyone he met, he knew how to make people laugh, how to be the life of the party, and how to make a new friend. He had so much love in his heart that he shared with so many people he will never be forgotten.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. A memorial service is planned for November 30, 2019 and will be held at UAW 652 Union Hall, 462 Clair St, Lansing, MI 48912 from 12pm to 4pm.
