With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lenora Maxine Cauther, who entered into eternal rest on November 12, 2024, in Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 65. Born on August 11, 1959, in the same beloved city, Lenora's life was one of dedication, love, and service.
Lenora was a proud graduate of East Lansing High School, where she laid the educational foundation for her future endeavors. She went on to lead a successful career as the Store Manager at Quality Dairy, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
As a matriarch, Lenora was the epitome of warmth and affection. She is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Michael Cauther, and her treasured children, Tiffany Cullimore (Benjamin Dobson), Alicia Taylor, and Montoya Taylor, along with her son-in-law John Jones Sr. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Charles Moore, Michael Taylor, John Jones Jr. (Charmain), Nushaun Windless, Andre Windless, Ja'vion Taylor, Veronica Taylor, Holly Jones, Miya Gilkie, Dalton Dobson, Wyatt Dobson, Ayden Taylor, and Adrianna Taylor—and her great-granddaughter Eveanna Jones.
Lenora's memory will also be cherished by her siblings Donna Bosher, Dean Perry (Mary), Bob Perry, Eileen Perry, and Debra Scott (Duane). She now joins in peace her siblings Jim Perry, Ron Perry, Don Perry, and Beatrice Detillian, and children April Jones and Andre Taylor, who preceded her in death.
The family invites those who knew and loved Lenora to attend her memorial service, which will be held on December 8, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Eaton Rapids Conservation Club, 4483 Freeman Rd, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827. This solemn occasion will allow friends and family to pay their respects, share memories, and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman.
We bid farewell to Lenora Maxine Cauther, a woman of grace and dignity, whose presence enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
