Jeanette "Hazel" Arlene Fox

Jeanette “Hazel” Arlene Fox, age 93, born June 12, 1920, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Donald; parents Fred and Isabelle Parks; sisters, Thelma, Evelyn and Margaret; and brothers, Glenn and Gerald.

Hazel loved her family above everything. She enjoyed many years of bowling, traveling, gardening and baking for her family.

Surviving to cherish Hazel’s memory, are her children, James (Vicki), Ronald (Julie), Janet (Buddy) Smith, Dennis, Jerry (Lena) and Julie (Tom) Seitters; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Lorna; and special friends, Dick and Tamie Wescott.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Church of the Resurrection, 1531 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. The family will receive friends from 2:00~4:00 PM and 6:00~8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI 48912. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM also on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, MI 48906.
