Jane Marie Hulse, 63, of Dimondale, passed away November 23, 2014. She was born October 19, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan. Jane graduated from Everett High school and attended the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) in Rochester, NY, and Gallaudet University in Washington DC, where she studied art. She married Richard Hulse on November 23, 1974. After retiring from the State of Michigan Department of Treasury in 2009, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and her lifelong passion for art.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Molly Vermillion; and her infant son, Andrew Hulse. Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Richard; her children, Shannon (Hulse) and Marc Williams, Jill Hulse and Brook Jones; 2 grandchildren, Ian Andrew and Molly Jane Williams; siblings, Bonnie (Vermillion) Brady, Fran (Vermillion) and Douglas Shooltz, Paul and Vicki Vermillion, Charles and Kim Vermillion, Mark Vermillion; and many nieces and nephews.
Jane will always be an inspiration to everyone who knew her for her courage, strength, resilience, creativity, empathy, love and compassion. She is now with ones who loved and missed her.
Private family services were held November 29, 2014 at St. Therese Catholic Church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions in Jane’s honor to the American Diabetes Association.
