Age 65, our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018. Born September 8, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan the son of James P. Pizzo, Sr. and Genevive L. (North) Pizzo. James was a banquet chef for many years at the Clarion–Holiday Inn South and later at Timber Ridge Golf Couse.
Surviving are his companion of 32 years and wife for 19 of those years, Caroline S. Pizzo; daughter, Shannon (Dave) Slocum, and their children, Lilly Watkins, Daisy Watkins, and David Slocum, Jr.; and son, Christopher Watkins and his childchildren, Katie Watkins, and Alyssa Walsh; and 1 great-grandchild on the way; and sisters, Angie, Alice, Bethann; and brothers,Tommy, and Eric. James was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Center Eaton Community Center, 2093 Narrow Lake Road, Charlotte, Michigan 48813. A luncheon will follow. Casual Dress, and for those need needing information is a centereaton.com for directions.
