Mr. James Wilce Finley Sr., 77, of Lansing, Michigan went home to his heavenly father, Friday, January 18, 2013.
Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 4:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, Michigan. Charles Kruger will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until service time on Thursday. Additional services will follow in McKenzie, Tennessee. Mr. Finley was born May 2, 1935 in McKenzie, Tennessee, son of the late James Sherrel (1970) and Maxie Wilma(Pryor) Finley (2001). He was a loving family man. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, fixing things and helping his family. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sharrie Finley (2004), brother John Finley Sr.(2012), sister Shirley Shappell (1997). Mr. Finley leaves behind brother Bob(Diane) Finley, brother Ted (Judy) Finley , sister Polly-Laura (Robert) Welliver, sister Maxie Faye Veloz and his family members that he adored so much.
