His passing on Veterans Day was very fitting since he was a WWII veteran serving as a Tech Sargent in the Philippines during the Asiatic and Pacific campaigns. He returned to the U.S. and worked 30+ years for G.M. before retiring in 1982.
"Del" enjoyed hunting, fishing, roller skating and bingo. He was a life member of the VFW.
Delmar married Ann Marie Scott on Oct. 21, 1953 and they recently celebrated their 64 wedding anniversary together.
Delmar was predeceased by his parents, 1 brother (Royal), 2 sisters (Alice, Ruth)and two sons (Frank, Richard). He is survived by his wife (Ann), 5 sons (Randy, Robert, Larry, Brian, Rick) 3 daughters (Della, Margaret, Shirl), 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren .
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Grace Hospice.
