Darin Kent VanDerBos, 45, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away June 8, 2014. He was born on July 15, 1968 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Barry and Renie (McNamara) VanDerBos. Darin was a free spirit; he enjoyed travelling and spending time outdoors. He loved the Chicago Bulls, playing pool, and listening to an array of music, including: R&B, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Barry White, Lyfe Jennings, and R. Kelly. He will be greatly missed.

Darin was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Malachi David Marrison; and his grandparents. Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughters, Anne VanDerBos and Victoria Taylor; son, Dean Marrison; grandchildren, Jasmine Taylor, Anthony, Ty, Dean Ivan, III, and Kymora KayLyn Marrison; sisters, Rachelle Williams and Charissa (Reggie) Hunt; special nieces, Ahnnah and Selecia; special nephew, Shawn; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at River Point Park, Lansing, Michigan.
