Colleen Jean Arnold

Colleen Jean Arnold, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was born October 14, 1923 the daughter of Gregory and Orpha (Bigg) Lynch. Colleen loved to dance with her late husband to music from the 1940’s and 1950’s. She was a compassionate person who was always taking care of others first. Colleen liked to cook, sew, gamble at the casino, and take care of her pets. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo W. Arnold; son, Roy George Arnold; grandson, Anthony Gauss. Surviving to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Connie (Ted) Gauss and Carol (Jerry) Brathol; three grandchildren, Timothy (Jane) Gauss, Kim (Peter) Reske and Nora Brathol; four great-grandchildren, Luke, Edmund, Matt and Ben. Funeral services remembering Colleen’s life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015, 11:00 AM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday for one hour prior to the service.
