age 87, our loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away September 24, 2017 at her home. Born August 12, 1930 in Highland Park, MI. Barbara in her career worked for the phone company, the Tuscola County Courts, the Department of Navy in Bay City, MI, and was a Medicaid claims analyst for the State of Michigan when she retired in 1995. She was an avid gardener and reader. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and quilting.
Surviving are her 4 children Mike (Carol) LeValley, Vicki (Jess) Merrill, Susan (Peter) Yates, and Patty (Mike) Toth; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; step-brother, Ralph Philp; and many other family members and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Russell; parents, Bob & Monica "Mike" Fox; brother, James Robert Fox.
