Born June 11, 1983 in Lansing, the son of Robert and Dena Auvenshine, passed away May 5, 2012 at the age of 28. Arron was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jim Auvenshine and Bruce Smalley. Surviving to cherish his memory are the love of his life, Jessica; son, Arron James Auvenshine; parents, Robert and Dena Auvenshine; sister, Kari Auvenshine (“A-Team Forever”); godparents, Steve Auvenshine, Steve Smalley and Dee Andrews; special friends, Nick, “Enough” and Cory; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Arron was an avid fisherman and was passionate about cooking. He loved his dog, Meme. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the trust fund established for his son Arron James in care of Gabriels Community Credit Union, 1901 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912.
