Ann Marie French, born July 11, 1961, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024, surrounded by her husband and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Marie Bower, as well as her infant sister, Mary Jo.
Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, William French, her loving children Nicole (Patrick) McPharlin and Benjamin French, and her cherished grandchildren: Lucas, Alexis, Jennifer, and Brendan. She also leaves behind her siblings: Timothy (Kim) Bower, Suzanne (Tony) Duda, Peter (Jenny) Bower, and Michael (Dawn) Bower as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and dear friends to mourn her loss.
Ann was born in Bath, Michigan. She attended Bath High School where she was valedictorian of her graduating class. She went on to graduate from Lansing Community College, where she met her loving husband, and then made her career there, dedicating 40 years of service. Ann was a lifelong resident of the Lansing area, but also enjoyed weekends and summers at her lake home in Weidman, Michigan. She was also a dedicated parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Lansing, MI. Along with her faith, the most important part of Ann's life was her family, and she especially treasured every moment with her grandkids.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday May 20 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3815 S Cedar St., Lansing, Michigan. A visitation will be held Sunday May 19 from 2-6 pm at Gorsline Runciman Lansing Chapel.
