Norma Jean Jansen, born on December 17, 1938, in Young, Saskatchewan, peacefully passed away on May 31, 2024, in Langley, BC, due to complications after a stroke. She was the beloved daughter of Thekla Harkness and Arthur Jansen, who have preceded her in death.
Norma will always be remembered and cherished by her surviving siblings, Edward Jansen of Abbotsford, BC and Yvonne King of Camrose, AB, along with several nieces and nephews.
Norma's warm presence and loving spirit touched the lives of many.
During her lifetime, Norma worked as a dedicated bank clerk, where she shared her kindness and professionalism with all those she encountered. Beyond her professional life, Norma had a passion for art, finding solace and joy in painting and drawing. She had a keen mind and enjoyed challenging herself with crossword and word search puzzles.
There will be no service at the request of Norma.
In this time of loss, the family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Rosewood Long-term care in Langley for their dedicated care and support of Norma during her time there.
Norma's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace, her legacy of love and kindness enduring through the memories she leaves behind.
