Lori is survived by her daughter, Darcian, grandchild Dimitri, son-in-law Robert, and siblings Clayton (sister-in-law Ella), and Debra. She is predeceased by her husband Barclay.
Lori began her work life as an RN working in Winnipeg for the Miserericordia Hospital and Health Sciences Centre. She met Barclay shortly after working in Winnipeg, married and started a family. Later in life, Lori and Barclay moved to Langley, BC. Lori continued her RN duties at the Langley Memorial Hospital until retirement.
During Lori and Barclay's life together, they enjoyed many activities, from participating with the Optimist Club in Winnipeg, to camping, snowmobiling, going to car races, and water skiing at the Whiteshell. And who could forget Lori's famous 'pork buttons'!
In her retirement she volunteered with Penny Pinchers (run by members of the Langley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary) and enjoyed many adventures with her friends. From camel rides in Africa, zip lining in Mexico, some winters in Palm Desert, golfing in Langley, and blueberry picking in Aldergrove.
Lori will be missed by many friends and family.
