John Anthony Geraghty

John Geraghty passed away at the age of 73 in the presence of family on February 3, 2024. John was born in London, England to parents Patrick and Kathleen. The family moved to Canada when John was 7 and settled in Bramalea, Ontario. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1975 with a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Upon graduating, he married his high school sweetheart, Jane, and started their lives together in Brandon, Manitoba. John worked as a City Planner for 5 years in Brandon before moving to British Columbia where he spent 26 years working for the Township of Langley. Survived by his devoted wife Jane, son Christopher, daughter Michelle (Tyler) and grandsons Lukas and Ethan. John lived a quiet and private family life. We honor his wish not to have a funeral or celebration of life.
