Chris was born to Eileen and Doug Dixon in Maesteg, Wales.

In 1979, he moved to British Columbia and worked at several companies as an electrician. He moved to Ontario and from 1987 - 1990 he worked on the Great Lakes for a shipping company doing electrical repair and maintenance on the ships. In 1991, he returned to B.C. and started work for the Township of Langley where he was eventually promoted to Supervisor in the Electrical/Engineering maintenance department. He enjoyed his time there and made many friends. He continued those friendships after his retirement in April 2016 and looked forward to coffee and lunches “with the boys”.
Chris was a huge rugby fan and followed the Welsh teams on television and live when he could. He enjoyed many great discussions about the game with his Dad and brother.
Chris loved to travel but none to compare with his annual return to Wales where he loved to visit family, friends, visit the local pubs for a pint and eat his favourite food.
His family meant the world to him and he will be greatly missed by all.
