Sandra Marie Hammons, age 60, of Carroll, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Sandy Marie’s life was a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of passion, creativity, and courage. Her doctor’s poignant words, "All people die, but not all people live," were a profound testament to her extraordinary spirit. In just sixty years,she packed a lifetime of experiences, leaving an indelible mark on the world. A lover of adventure, Sandy explored the globe and found solace in the gentle giants of the equestrian world. Her compassionate heart shone through in her work as a preschool teacher, charitable work for therapy programs, and her dedication to animal rescue. A computer science graduate, she seamlessly blended intellect with artistry, expressing herself through gardening, cooking, quilting, and design. Despite the formidable challenge of an incurable cancer, Sandy faced adversity with unwavering optimism. Her infectious smile and graceful demeanor inspired all who knew her. A proud Circleville native, she reveled in the simple joys of life: from the annual pumpkin harvest that lit up her autumn to the exhilarating roar of the OSU football stadium, a passion inherited from her Dad. Sandy will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched.
