She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Hammack; sister, Judy Young; mother, Garnet Sifford; and father, James Sifford.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 60 years, David Williams; daughter, Pamela (Kevin) McCarty; brother,
Mike Sifford; sister, Connie Sifford; grandson, Aaron (Carrie) Hammack; grandson, Kurt Hammack; granddaughter, Lindsay (Michael) Russell; granddaughter, Emily (Justin) Brady; grandson, Zachary McCarty; and 7 great grandchildren.
Ruth retired from Heritage Pharmacy in downtown Lancaster where she worked as a bookkeeper. She was always very proud of and dearly loved her entire family. She also enjoyed traveling around the country and going to new places. She loved being out in nature, bird watching and gardening.
A visitation for Ruth will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home (436 N. Broad St Lancaster, OH) followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
